Lawai International Center Benefit Auction 2024
The Lawai International Center is a cultural and archaeological treasure in Lawai on Kauai that is bringing the valley back to prominence as a center for compassion and cultural understanding. The first immigrants from Japan built 88 miniature shrines here in 1904 to honor the 1,000-mile pilgrimage on the island of Shikoku, Japan. It is a place outside of time and refreshes the spirit.
Volunteers are preserving the significance of Lawai International Center by their commitment, nurturing the land and heartfelt dedication. By presenting cultural programs, they also perpetuate the history of the founders and keep their contributions alive.
The collective energy of the volunteers, supporters, and ancestors is at the heart of the Lawai International Center today. We invite you to be a part of the Lawai family, a growing number of individuals worldwide who nurture the compassion of this sanctuary for all people and future generations.
