Founded in 2009, Casa Belvedere is dedicated to PRESERVATION at its core. We aim to preserve and celebrate the rich heritage of all things authentically Italian while safeguarding the history and beauty of the 1908 Roebling-Stirn mansion, which we proudly call home. This iconic structure, which became Casa Belvedere in 2010, has been designated a NYC Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, making it a cornerstone of early 20th-century American history.
For more than a decade, Casa Belvedere has been a beacon of Italian arts, culture, and education, offering a wide range of mission-driven public programs for both children and adults. From language and cooking classes to art and photo exhibits, film screenings, outdoor festivals, live concerts, opera and theatrical performances, Nonno's Community Garden, and bocce tournaments, we strive to engage and inspire our community. Signature experiences like food and wine tastings, book signings, lectures, and humanities programs further solidify Casa Belvedere as a dynamic hub for cultural exchange.
