Artist Statement:
The 2024 Marblehead sea glass cod, 'How Deep Is Your Love' features the popular LOVE design. The variation in color of the green glass represents the play of light on the cod's scales under water. The sides and back of the cod are painted in gold to replicate the celebrated symbol of our beloved town, the golden cod.
Artist Biography:
In 2018, Amy began creating coastal art from beach-procured sea glass, sea pottery, rock and driftwood. Each piece of art brings life and movement to carefully assembled pieces of sea glass. These assemblages decorate seaside homes from New Hampshire to Florida.

Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 13 from 12-3 and July 14 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
