Artist: Jennifer Boggi Farrenkopf
Jen was born and raised in New York, escaping to Cape Cod as often as she could because of her love for the beach & ocean. Eventually, Jen migrated here to become a full time resident. Her passion has been with her love and care for pets and animals. In New York, Jen earned her Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Technology becoming a Veterinary Technologist. When she moved here, she continued her career practicing at a local Veterinary hospital in South Yarmouth, where she continues to work part time. Jen has taken her wealth of knowledge in veterinary medicine and is now teaching high school students Veterinary Science at Upper Cape Tech Vocational High School in Bourne, MA.
Jen?s second passion is creating art with drawing, painting, and crafting. In her time off from teaching Veterinary Science & practicing Veterinary Medicine, she is in her art studio conjuring up new art projects. One of her favorite mediums is sea shells, where she takes her love of animals, the seaside, sci-fi, fantasy, and horror and paints ideas on local sea shells found on the beaches of Cape Cod.
Jen currently lives in Chatham with her biggest supporters of her art; her husband Jason their Devon Rex cat Ralphvioli and their Pekingese dog Mucca.
