The Rocky Mountains are a beautiful backdrop to this historic lodge style hotel. Opened in 1939, the hotel has been completely remodeled to provide guests with clean and comfortable accommodations, while retaining the property?s authentic historic western charm. Our dining options in the Valleon Café and Steakhouse include breakfast and lunch, or join us for a casual finer dining experience for dinner. We pride ourselves on great service and our new dining experience has something for everyone. Try local fare, Certified Angus Beef steaks, fresh seafood, vegetarian, and gluten free options you will not find anywhere else in Star Valley!

Horseback riding, guided hunting trips, fishing, waterskiing, river rafting, golfing and many more activities are available outside of Colter?s Lodge! Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park, and Yellowstone National Parks are all easily accessible from your stay here in Star Valley. Get away from the hustle and bustle of busy tourist areas by accessing the Palisades Reservoir and nearby Salt, Grey?s, and Snake Rivers. In winter, experience nearby cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling, or downhill skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort or Grand Targhee Resort.
