Item Description
Tamara was so generous to donate to the Spring Fling auction, although you may not have seen her wonderful gift, as it was here in the Chicago event where it made it's mark.
Tamara has generously donated another of her wonderfully crafted crocheted Orcas to this Holiday Auction, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Here is Tamara's description of her Orca:
"He measures about 8 3/4 inches long and is made from acrylic yarn, flame-retardant fibrefill stuffing, and plastic safety eyes.
He is a difficult little guy to make, because of the colour changes from black to white (each change requires the yarns to be cut and tied off so that they don't show through) .
It takes me about 30 hours to make an Orca. However, it's a labour of love!"
********* Here is a warning that Tamara would like shared ********
......He isn't safe for young children or pets, due to the plastic eyes. They are safety eyes, but they cannot be guaranteed to be non-removable.....
