Artist Statement:
As an artist who works in clay and who mainly focuses on functional pottery, it is always fun to get out of my routine and make a codfish for this auction to support the Marblehead Festival of Arts. I have been showing work at this festival since I was a child growing up here in town.
Artist Biography:
Kirsten received her MFA in ceramics from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2004 and a bachelors as an art major from Skidmore College in 1997. Kirsten is the owner and founder of The Clay School in Lynn, MA, where, for the last 18 years, she has been making her own work and teaching classes.

Item Special Note
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 13 from 12-3 and July 14 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
