Item Description
A $1000 gift certificate for use at the Historic Norumbega Inn located in Camden, Maine, built in 1886. This certificate will cover 2 nights or more, depending on the room chosen and the dates of travel.
Nestled along a lush and scenic stretch of coastal Route 1 overlooking Penobscot Bay, The Norumbega is one of Maine's most distinguished Inns. Readers of Travel + Leisure voted the property one of the World's Best Hotels in 2024, and a Top-5 in America. Built in 1886 as a single-family home in the style of Europe's grand estates and manor house, the castle-like structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Comprehensively renovated in 2023, the Norumbega offers eleven unique and elegant guest rooms, including two luxurious suites, all furnished with King beds, sitting areas, and en-suite baths. Guests enjoy a gourmet breakfast every morning of their stay, and a casual small-plates restaurant and bar service is available four-nights a week during the high-season (June through October). With endlessly elaborate wooden trimmings, several prominent fireplaces in the common areas and within 5 guest rooms, and a quiet yet personable level of service, The Norumbega offers a uniquely sublime place from which to enjoy Camden-Rockport and midcoast Maine all year round. The Norumbega is owned and operated by Will Tims, a Cleveland native, and his partner Brett Haynie since Spring 2022.
