Item Description

Rare museum-quality piece - over 150 years old!  This Victorian Currier & Ives Lithograph (from about 1874) is in an Antique wood glass frame.  It was donated to our Auction from an Estate Sale (from the Original Owners).  Amazing detail with hand-drawn colors and perfect style (using the lithography technique from the late 1800's).  The gorgeous "Adirondack Black Forest Frame" has all perfectly intact Corner Leaves and the original gold gesso liner.  Artwork is titled "Take A Peach" - and the publication address of "125 Nassau Street, New York" confirms a print-date between 1872-1874 (which is also the same age as this original Antique Frame).  Authentic piece - and rarely ever seen with such vibrant colors (and with the Original Frame in such lovely condition).  Total size is 19H x 15W.  This item can be shipped nationwide (with additional insurance) - or can be picked up by the Winning Bidder for FREE in Enfield, CT - at the close of the Auction.  Beautiful piece of Art!
