The journey to Anakeesta begins with a scenic Chondola or Ridge Rambler ride from the busy Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg to the summit of Anakeesta Mountain. Here guests enter a world of whimsy and discover treetop adventures, a lush botanical garden, nighttime experiences, shopping and dining all amongst the backdrop of the sweeping views of the national park.
Featured activities include the Treetop Skywalk with hanging bridges spanning 880’ more than 50’ above the forest floor and AnaVista Tower, downtown’s highest point offering 360-degree views. Adventure seekers love the Dueling Zipline tour and two mountain coasters, The Hellbender and Rail Runner mountain coasters, along with the park’s signature experience Astra Lumina, a one-of-a-kind nighttime journey through an enchanted forest of light and sound that captures the wonder of the cosmos.
Dining and shopping add even more depth to the experience, with places like Kephart Café and the Clifftop Restaurant offering Smoky Mountain flavors with an elevated dining experience, and the village shops showcasing artisan crafts and locally inspired gifts. Seasonal festivals and live music events bring new energy to the park throughout the year, making each visit to Anakeesta uniquely memorable.
