Geri Yotsuda’s exquisite silver and blue freshwater pearl gold-filled chain link bracelet is an elegant accessory. Complementing any outfit, this dazzling accent adds an oomph factor.

"I love things sculptural and I love mixed media. That is why it made sense to combine glass beads with wire. I discovered the lampwork glass process over ten years ago. Making my own beads allows me to design my own creations as I envision them.

I started building my beads off the end of the mandril instead of having a hole go through the entire bead. Doing this allowed me to make jewelry that was more sculptural in design.

I am currently working on combining wood with glass.

I grew up with a mom who was an art teacher so I had countless materials and tools at my disposal. It was wonderful to feel the texture of things in my hands as I worked with them. Working with glass is so different because you can't touch it directly while you are working with it. Once cooled, I am always amazed at the beautiful and varied color palette.

Years later, after obtaining a degree at the local university, I am still doing what I enjoy. I feel lucky to live in such a beautiful environment where I gain much of the inspirations for my designs." - Geri Yotsuda
